The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPC, and oil marketers have reached an agreement to ensure seamless petroleum product distribution both during and after the Yuletide season.
Dr. Joseph Obele, the Petroleum Retail Operators Association of Nigeria (PETROAN)’s national public relations officer, made this announcement on Friday after Dr. Billy Hary, the organization’s national president, and his team paid an official visit to the Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC in Abuja.
Additionally, the association recognised Mele Kyari as the most productive GMD/GCEO of NNPC and as an honorary life council member of PETROAN.
“The strategic meeting was very successful because it covered topics like how the NNPC and PETROAN can work together effectively to guarantee smooth petroleum product distribution throughout the nation both during and after the Yuletide season.”
During the meeting, the National President of PETROAN presented the GCEO of NNPC with an award as an honorary life council member of PETROAN and as the most productive GMD/GCEO of NNPC.
According to the statement, the National President of PETROAN, Dr. Billy Gillis-Harry, commended the GCEO for his efforts to revive the Port Harcourt refinery and the overall expansion of the Nigerian petroleum industry.
