You Are Living with a Bomb If You Don’t know this About Your Gas Cylinder

*HOW TO KNOW THE LEVEL OF YOUR GAS CYLINDER CONTENT AND EXPIRY DATE!!!

The importance of this cannot be overemphasized. Pls take note. You do not have to shake the gas cylinder to know the level of its content.

Just wet a side of the cylinder with water. After a while, the used top part will be dry and the lower part with gas will remain wet. The wet portion tells you the amount of gas left. Most times we shake our gas cylinders to check if it is finished or not. That is a very dangerous thing to do. It could be suicidal.

Kindly share with friends and family.

*Cooking gas – the danger we live with!!

Do you know that the gas cylinder you live with in the kitchen is a time bomb, ready to explode any time?

Gas cylinders have expiry date like any other product.

The Expiry date is coded on the side of the cylinder in alphabetical order – A,B,C,D in quarters as shown below:

A is for March, 1st Qtr

B is for June,  2nd Qtr

C is for Sept,  3rd Qtr

D is for Dec,   4th Qtr.

There are some two-digit numbers that follow, e.g. D06. So if you have D06 on your cylinder, it means that it has expired Dec 2006. And if it is A20, it is going to expire in March 2020. Please, inform others.

I hope this help you, kindly comment in the comment section below and don’t forget to share to friends and family.
