Valuechain Media Group has initiated talks with the government of Equatorial Guinea, with the aim of striking a media partnership for media operations in the island country.

This was made known when the Management Team of Valuechain Magazine, led by the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, Musa Bashir Usman, visited the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea,to Nigeria, Mr. Fransico Edu Ngua Mangue,  at his office in Abuja.

In conversation with the Ambassador, the Valuechain Publisher narrated the vision behind the establishment of the media brand.

According to him, “we studied the terrain and discovered that there are a lot of media organizations in Nigeria but there are no media organizations that specialize in oil and gas and we believe that there are so many stories or narratives that we need to send out to investors that will like to come to Nigeria and invest, especially from within the African region and the rest of the world.

“And, to the glory of God, today, we are five years into it and Valuechain has transcended the nooks and crannies of Africa and even the world. If you go to OPEC library, you will see Valuechain there in Vienna, so we thank God for that.”

He further noted that around last year, the media group expanded its scope from oil and gas to energy generally, due to the transition that is happening globally, and that it is also planning towards launching a television station on Star Times.

His word: “Today, I am glad to tell you that we already have a television station, which is in the pipeline. We have already started an online transmission, but our target is that, by January 1st, we will be on Star Times and you will have a television channel that you will open and you will see Valuechain TV, and the greater scope of our discussion there will be on energy, although we will still have our focus on business and economy generally.”

In terms of economic ties between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea, he said that both countries are energy producing nations with a very strong relationship. As a result of this, the Valuechain Boss said, “we want to see the possibility of what we can do to explore Equatorial Guinea, so that our media house will have a desk there and even in other African countries that have oil and gas resources.

“We will see how we can give them a hype so that the rest of the world will know what we have in Africa and they will be able to plan or see if they can come and invest in our various countries.”
