Tears As Late Barkindo Brother Responds To Posthumous Award By Valuechain

Tears roll down the chins of many guests as Abduljalal Barkindo, the younger brother of the late immediate past Secretary General of OPEC, Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo was reading his response, after the receipt by him, of a posthumous award in honour of his late brother, on Monday in Abuja by the Valuechain Magazine.

Valuechain, to whom the late OPEC scribe served as alternate chairman of its Editorial Advisory Council, during its 5th edition of the Annual Lecture and Awards, honoured the late global energy leader with a posthumous Life Time Achievement Award. Other various awards were also presented at the well attended occasion.

Abduljalal’s response which was brief and concise, was listened to with rapt attention by guests and with a near graveyard silence in the hall of Fraser Suites venue of the historic event which ended successfully.
