The Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) has expressed delight towards the planned construction of the Oloibiri Musuem and Research Center in Otuabagi, Ogbia Local Government Council of Bayelsa State.
This Museum and Research Center is a joint project of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC) and the Government of Bayelsa State.
The Managing Director of SPDC, Osagie Okunbor, while speaking on the development, described the project as being historic and expressed optimism about the center being able to foster research and development of technologies for Nigeria’s energy Industry when completed.
