The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has said that fuel scarcity will reduce based on the ongoing rehabilitation of three refineries in the country.
Danladi Inuwa, who is Executive Vice President, Business Services, of NNPC Limited made this known on Wednesday in Abuja at a sensitization workshop with the Natives, a civil society organization.
According to him, the Port Harcourt Refinery will start operations by Q2 2023, while the Warri and Kaduna refineries have been contracted for quick rehabilitation so as to refine petroleum products in Nigeria.
Inuwa further stated that the country has been battling with fuel scarcity and gave assurance that the issue will be resolved as soon as possible.
