The Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), Engr. Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad, has drafted out the Agency’s proposed measures aimed at reducing the impacts of the recent removal of fuel subsidy on Nigerians.
Ahmad made this known during a courtesy visit to the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, where he also provided updates on the advancements that have taken place within the nation’s renewable energy sector.
The REA Boss, during the meeting, presented a comprehensive overview of the Agency’s strategic initiatives, as well as notable achievements in Nigeria’s off-grid renewable energy sector.
He further appreciated the Vice President for receiving him and for his words of encouragement on the organization’s achievements so far, stating that the Agency will continue to electrify both unserved and underserved Nigerians “one community at a time.”
