The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has said that the total volume of 515.99 million litres of petrol was evacuated from the 33 top loading depots between March 25th and March 31st.
NNPCL revealed this on Monday in its report titled: “Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) Weekly Evacuation & Dispatch.”
The report, which NNPCL accredited to the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), stated that the average daily evacuation for the week was 73.71 million litres, while the average daily consumption of petrol was 65.62 million litres.
NNPCL said that 89.96 percent of all evacuation took place at the 33 loading depots within minimum evacuation of 5 million litres, while other loading depots evacuated 10.04 percent of the total volume.
According to the report, within the period under review, Pinnacle Lekki topped the evacuation list with 73.97 million litres.
NIPCO evacuated 34.30million litres, while 11 Plc evacuated 28.74 million litres and AITEO evacuated 24.57 million litres.
The report also said that Bono Energy evacuated 0.09 million litres, which was the lowest recorded and it was followed by Integrated Oil, which evacuated 0.13 million litres in the same period.
