Nigerians, especially the youth, continue to pour encomiums on the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), over the level of transparency that characterised the corporation’s 2019/2020 recruitment exercise resulting in the employment of 1,050 Nigerian graduate trainees.
NNPC had, recently in a statement, revealed that 1,050 candidates had been successfully recruited to serve the oil company as graduate trainees.
The reactions stemming out of joy for securing the employment, have been pouring in through tweets by beneficiaries, relatives, and friends in expression of their boundless happiness.
Valuechain Magazine captured some of the tweets which suggested that the incumbent GMD, Mallam Mele kyari stands out as one of the most transparent, fair and straightforward in the history of NNPC’s recruitment exercise. This attribute has brought to light, a tip of the iceberg of Kyari’s abstract – TAPE (Transparency, Accountability and Performance Excellence).
Though not all the successful candidates tweeted, some of the tweets captured read thus:
In his reaction via his tweeter handle, the GMD, Mallam Mele Kyari said: “We promised Nigerians to conclude the exercise with utmost dignity and justice .
