Are People Happy With Governor Umahi Naming Projects After His Family?

As one of the Governor who has done more in reviving Ebonyi economy through construction of quality roads, Markets, Mall, Flyovers, Hospitals and the ongoing construction of the Ebonyi International Airport, Many has considered him to be the best Governor in the Eastern region and among the best in Nigeria.

But others think otherwise, especially Ebonyi indigenes who thought the Governor is spoiling the good works he has done in the state by naming projects he builds with the state money after his family.

Ebonyi People are not happy after the Governor name the International Market after his wife, Margaret Umahi.

It was a promise made, a promise fulfilled by Governor David Nwaze Umahi in the construction of an international Market.

This project was reconstructed and put to use by Governor David Umahi as trading activities have long commenced, But naming the market after his wife is what the people don’t like.

Umahi has embarked on numerous projects in the state to put Ebonyi state on the world map with the construction of an international Airport and also embarking on the construction of an Olympic Stadium to bring national team’s football to the East.

Engr David Umahi will be remembered for his good work in Ebonyi state but should stop naming projects after his family for him not to destroy the good work he has done in the state.
