The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has disowned information making the rounds in the social media to the effect that the oil company is conducting a recruitment exercise.
The Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division of the NNPC, Garba Deen Muhammad disowned the information today in a statement issued in Abuja.
Valuechain reports that the statement categorically warned: “this is to inform the public that the information circulating in the Social Media that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is conducting a recruitment exercise IS NOT TRUE and the public should disregard it in its entirety.”
While frowning further about the false infirmation, Garba Deen Muhammad reiterated that whenever the NNPC decides to conduct a recruitment exercise, it will announce this to the public through authentic public communication channels including the NNPC’s website (www.nnpcgroup.com).
“Once again, the NNPC is NOT RECRUITING”, the statement further warned the general public sternly.
