Abuja, Nigeria – April 25, 2024 – The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced the successful restoration of power supply to the Afam-IPP/Elelenwo 132kV line. The line was restored at 6:22 pm on April 24, 2024, following the replacement of faulty insulators on two towers.
The TCN expressed its appreciation for the patience and understanding of the affected customers during the period of power interruption.
According to Ndidi Mbah, General Manager, Public Affairs, TCN, “We are pleased to announce the restoration of power supply to the Afam-IPP/Elelenwo 132kV line. We understand the inconvenience caused by the power interruption and appreciate the cooperation of our customers during this time.”
The statement concluded by stating that TCN is committed to ensuring a stable and reliable power supply to its customers and will continue to work tirelessly to maintain and upgrade its infrastructure to achieve this goal.
