PHOTO NEWS: NNPC To Deepen Nigeria’s Conversion Of Oil To Chemical, Fertilizer -Kyari

The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroluem Corporation, Mele Kyari has said that the corporation would deepen the country’s conversions of its produced oil and gas to secondary products like chemicals, fertilizer, refining.

He said the move would help to increase the sector’s contribution into the nation’s economy.

He said these at the 2021 Nigeria International Petroleum Summit in Abuja.

The GMD at the event set the stage with emphasis on the need to move into the future by ensuring that the industry players work together collaboratively to create, capture and deliver value to the Country and its upstream partners.

In all these, he said what is important for the players is to ensure healthy and prudent balance of sustainability and responsibility in the conduct of our business.
