NNPC Announces 35 Days of Fuel Sufficiency Nationwide

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has announced that it has about 2.1 billion litres of fuel in stock that will ensure sufficient supply of petrol for a period of at least 35 days throughout the country.

The Chief Corporate Communication Officer of NNPCL, Mr Garbadeen Muhammed, in a statement at the weekend said that the 2.1 billion litres of fuel consisted of 0.9 billion litres in all the land depots nationwide and 1.2 billion litres on marine vessels.

He further stated that the Company plans to end the month of March with about 2.8 billion litres which indicates 47 days of fuel sufficiency.

Muhammed added that NNPCL, as well as all its partners and stakeholders will continue to work together to ensure the smooth distribution of petroleum products during the period of the gubernatorial and state assembly elections.
