Nigerian Oil-Servicing Firm Awards 50  Scholarships to African  Postgraduate Students

Kenyon International West Africa Limited, a Nigerian oil-servicing company has announced the award of scholarships to 50 post-graduate indigent and brilliant beneficiaries across Africa, for an online Mini MBA course organized by Tekedia.

Tekedia is a United States-based institution that specializes in offering online learning courses for students. The Mini-MBA programme is an innovation management 12-week programme that will start from June 5th to September 2nd, 2023. It is optimized for business execution and growth, with digital operational overlay. The theme is Innovation, Growth & Digital Execution – Techniques for Building Category-King Companies.

The firm’s Public Affairs Manager, Mr Ifechukwu Muonyili, announced this in a statement he issued on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)  of the Firm, Victor Ekpenyong, on Tuesday,  where he stated that the that the gesture was aimed at encouraging entrepreneurship amongst the youths rather than being job seekers.

 “As an organization with a keen interest in education and all its related benefits to society, we are happy to announce that we have approved scholarships for over 50 students across Africa to be able to partake in the mini-MBA crash programme organized by Tekedia Institute.

“In the past year, we made the scholarship available to 30 Nigerian students who could not afford to be part of the program. We were pleased to see that they acquired the enlightenment they need to function optimally in today’s ever-evolving business landscape.

“Our aim is to cause a paradigm shift in the mindset of many Africans and help them discover their entrepreneurial strength, which is needed for us to experience a sustainable economic boom as a continent.” the statement read in part.

Kenyon International, which offers oil well control services that checks vandalism and oil theft, assured that it is fully committed to providing resources that can enable less privileged but qualified individuals to acquire the needed knowledge and skills to effectively manage their businesses all over Africa.
