*The most fascinating aspect of a postage stamp is the persistence & dedication with which it performs its function…
*…Because, ‘Persistence is the key to our own achievement.’
The difference between the victors and losers is perseverance. Those who persevere realise that luck is something that only losers believe in. Persistence, resolve, and a can-do attitude are all terms used to describe perseverance. In order to succeed in life, you must be determined to never give up, even if the reward is delayed.
Resolve to: Never give up if you believe you are correct. Believe that if you stick it out until the finish, everything will work out. When the odds are stacked against you, stay brave and confident. Never let somebody frighten you or make you doubt your own abilities. Strive to overcome any physical limitations or setbacks.
Positivity, confidence, and persistence are key in life, so never give up on yourself. A s I think that’s why they say “Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent” – Calvin Coolidge.
The little, inconsequential postal stamp is an excellent example of what can be accomplished if you stay with a task until it is completed. It’s hidden on the corner of the envelope, but it serves as motivation to keep going until the complete packet reaches its final destination.
If you have the perseverance to follow your objective until you achieve it, the impact you can have on your company, your church, your family, or any organisation is immeasurable. In every worthy activity, you will undoubtedly face challenges.
Remember the little tiny postage stamp and persist with the vision or job until it’s completed just like Bill Bradley rightly posit that “Ambition is the path to success. Persistence is the vehicle you arrive in.”
And so the next time you want to quit/give up, remember this lines that says “A little more persistence, a little more effort, and what seemed hopeless failure may turn to glorious success.”
For me just like Belinda Johnson “Persistence pushes me to be bold and seek out the opportunities I’ve wanted. It starts by envisioning what you want, no matter how big or small, and believing that you can achieve it.” ~ Belinda Johnson
How’s that?
