Emir of Kano assures Valuechain of support

His Highness the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has assured continued support for the good work of Valuechain Magazine, a monthly oil and gas publication.

The emir gave the assurance today when the publisher of the magazine led a delegation of staff and members of its editorial team on a courtesy visit to His Highness in his ancient palace in Kano City.

Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero expressed gratitude to the team for the homage, stressing that he had been following and reading Valuechain Magazine since its inception four years ago, and that was because “our followers hip of the magazine has made us to understand its focus, especially now that this part of the country is lagging behind in the area of media industry.

“However, thank God it’s not too late especially if setting up such is done with the purpose of the development of the country as a whole,” he added.

According to him, he has been conversant with some of the journalists in their respective fields, which goes to indicate that journalists are versatile and also patriotic in the development of the country.

“I appreciate your visit and assure you of our support as always and let me also assure you that the letter you brought nominating me as the chairman of the advisory council of Valuechain will be looked into and replied according. I wish you success”.

Earlier in his remark before handing over the letter to the emir, the publisher of Valuechain Magazine, Alhaji Musa Bashir Usman had told the emir that “we have been urging to pay this homage over time but Allah has ordained that today is His chosen date.

“We thank the emir for granting us the audience today and pray for continued good health of His Highness and success in his qualitative leadership.”
