Following up on his successful 2020 bestseller “Billions at Play,” NJ Ayuk’s latest book, “A Just Transition: Making Energy Poverty History with an Energy Mix,” has also recorded success, hitting the #bestseller spot on the Wall Street Journal, an American publication, on 13th May 2023.

Steve Braverma ‘s “Your Time with The Baton”  took second place in the rank with David Granny’s “The Wager” coming third. Prince Harry’s “Spare” came fourth on the rank with Andy Cohen’s “The Daddy Diaries” taking  fifth place.

Valuechain findings also revealed that merely a day after the book published by Seattle-based publishing house, Made for Success, was released, it broke sales records to become a number-one bestseller across multiple Amazon categories, including Natural Gas Energy, Electrical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering. The book was originally published on 3 January, 2023 and the unabridged edition published on 7th March, 2023.

“A Just Transition” educates readers on how fatally the International Energy Agency’s (IEA) ambitious green energy policies are stifling and crippling the energy economies of African countries. When the IEA levied a mandatory policy for countries around the world to embrace “green” energy sources, the burgeoning energy economies of Africa were unjustly handicapped, as funding and business interest in their oil and gas energy projects virtually vaporized overnight.

The book, which explained that despite having extraordinary potential to be a leader in global energy, Africa is still behind, also enlightened readers that a transformation like that of the green energy sources cannot be realized for African countries solely through green energy. “A Just Transition” is considered by analysts as an incisive deep dive into the prospect of a prosperous future for African nations and the obstacles that lie in its way.

In “A Just Transition,” Ayuk guided readers through issues like the sobering truth about energy poverty, Africa’s potential in the natural gas sector, how foreign aid utterly handicaps African countries, strategic pathways for the adoption of new technologies and how  more women in the industry can be provided  with more opportunities to grow.
