Adokiye was part of the team that negotiated an appropriate pricing framework for Egina Crude after First Oil and during the Trial Marketing Period (TMP). This negotiation secured over $1 per barrel price advantage over the earlier proposed price by the Terminal Operator.
He was instrumental to the development of the strategy for expansion of Domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Utilization from local sources.

He also championed the emplacement of processes for the recovery of legacy demurrage costs from Crude oil and Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs) owed to the Corporation by Terminal Operators.

In recent times, despite the unprecedented events that emanated due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he was a leading force in the implementation of the Honourable Minister of State Petroleum Resources’ (HMSPR) strategy on OPEC production cut.

He is a self-driven, seasoned and highly efficient chemical engineer, with broad range of proficiency and competence across the value chain of the Oil and Gas industry. An amiable personality, with deep appetite for details, he is an excellent manager of men and materials.
